What you’ll love and hate
The location was perfect! Just a minute’s walk to The Podium Mall. A cozy atmosphere with lovely staff in the buffet on weekends!
The check-in was quite slow, and some rooms unfortunately had unpleasant odors lingering in the air.

convenient access to local malls, spacious living area, adequate kitchenette facilities
The plumbing issues created awful odors in the bathroom!!! The overall maintenance of the facilities left much to be desired, especially the weak lighting and cleanliness behind the toilet and wash basin!!!

I had a fantastic time staying in the Malayan Plaza. The room was spacious, featuring a comfy queen-size bed and a mini-kitchen equipped with a stove and microwave. Plenty of room for my family to move around! The staff really impressed me with how accommodating they were, especially at check-in. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a great selection including made-to-order omelettes that everyone loved. There were a couple of things that could use work, though. The air conditioning didn't cool as much as I would have liked. Also, while the kitchenette was useful, it lacked some basic utensils that would have made cooking easier. We did notice some maintenance issues in the bathroom. the sink didn't drain well and the shower could use some repairs. Still, the cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and convenient amenities made it an enjoyable stay overall.

Cozy stay with friendly staff
My family enjoyed a spacious room that felt like a little home. Andrea at the front desk was super helpful and always had a smile. We loved the breakfast options, especially the fresh fruit! Just wish the air con worked a bit better. it didn't cool the room enough for our liking.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the children's playground and the comfy room. The fitness center was a nice touch too, especially being in the heart of the Ortigas district. Plus, the staff were really accommodating with our small dog!
My wife says that the air conditioning could use some work.

We had an amazing stay with friends! The kids loved the children's pool, and we enjoyed the fitness center. The staff were warm and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect, just a walk away from popular spots which made our trip enjoyable.
We had to wait over 20 minutes for check-in, which was a bit frustrating, especially since we arrived right at 3 PM. It would be better if the rooms were ready at that time for future guests.

Location was a major highlight, just a short walk to local attractions like MegaMall. The breakfast at the Executive Lounge featured delicious marmalade, which my family truly enjoyed. However, the accommodations felt dated, with issues like loose floor tiles and some maintenance creaks that need addressing. A few minor repairs could go a long way in improving the overall appeal of our stay.
